Face to face classroom training is the traditional, time-honoured way of doing things, and it has its place – but some training providers don’t step outside of that bubble. The Traditional Way
One of the drawbacks of traditional training is the logistics; the effort and expense required to get everyone together in the same place at the same time. Remote learning means that travel costs are eliminated (not forgetting the environmental impact too!) and if for some reason there are people who can’t make it, they can view a recording of the session for a limited time afterwards. With traditional methods from other providers, at best you can give someone a copy of the slides. Without the context that’s added by the discussion and the questions asked at the time, those slides are of limited value.
