Finch is very pleased to be sponsoring The Business Desk Midlands manufacturing networking lunch on Thursday the 12th of May 2022 at Baresca in Nottingham.

As new opportunities open up for manufacturers and the supply chain in the post-pandemic world, this Manufacturing event will take a look at the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

With the majority of manufacturers now expecting prices to rise over the coming months due to supply chain issues and spiralling inflation, the expert panel will explain how costs can be kept under control so that businesses in the sector can boost their bottom line.

They’ll discuss how manufacturers can understand and manage the engineering health and safety risks as they scale operations through capital expenditure or acquisition. They’ll also debate the importance of looking critically at the condition of machinery and process plants as part of due diligence, scrutinising technical specifications for new equipment specifications, and how business owners can restructure management systems and train teams.

On the panel are Dr Richard Brown and Paul Wood from Finch, Simon White Legal Director at Eversheds Sutherland and Aatin Anadkat co-founder of Positive Kitchen + Co.

Richard is an expert on risk management as a practising Expert Witness, with particular expertise in construction, work at height and workplace transport. Paul is building the new asset management offering that Finch is to launch soon. A well designed and managed asset management system ensures that you are able to meet your business objectives and keep up with the ever-growing demand.

A single ticket costs £45 plus VAT and can be purchased here.

We really hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you on the day!

If you have any questions for Richard or Paul in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact them at [email protected] or [email protected].
