Jim Creswell is a multifaceted engineer with over 20 years of engineering experience.
Jim has been a military electrical and mechanical draughtsman involved in the design, construction and site management of NATO and UN projects worldwide in a variety of infrastructure applications including airfields, bulk fuel installation, fuel refineries, hospitals, schools, and accommodation.
Jim has continued as a design/project/compliance engineer and has been involved in the development of risk assessments (EN 12100, IEC 61508) and functional safety systems for machinery (EN 13849, EN 61511) and explosive atmospheres since 2012, designing large scale material handling facilities, biomass energy facilities as well as bespoke robotic and laser systems for many sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical, and nuclear.
Jim has often been involved in planning and fulfilling CDM requirements (Construction Phase Plans and risk assessments) and creating RAMS documentation.
Amongst his various responsibilities, Jim has developed several Quality Management Systems to ISO9001. He has also planned and delivered various risk management, functional safety, and machinery compliance (UKCA/CE) training sessions.
