We are very excited to announce that we have entered into a partnership with The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
With over 158,000 members worldwide in 153 countries, the IET’s mission is to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society.
With this partnership announcement, Finch will become the newest partner of the IET’s Enterprise Initiative, joining 123 other businesses located in the UK who are also partners.
As an Enterprise Partner Finch will be able to:
- access to a wide range of professional development solutions
- increase our profile in the IET engineering community
- develop staff technical knowledge
- Network and share ideas with other IET partners
- Get discounts on IET products and services
The initiative will also enable 15 members of the Finch community to become fully accredited IET members.
Commenting on the partnership, Finch Consulting, Finance Director, Andrew Millington said “As experts in the field of environmental, health and safety and engineering risk management, we are very excited about partnering with the IET. This should give us a great platform to promote the Finch brand and also share best practices and knowledge with other experts within the industry.”
The IET was formed in 2006 by a merger of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE). The history of the two institutes dates back to 1871.
