Finch Consulting is delighted to announce that this year we will be hosting the virtual Annual BALPPA health and safety conference for 2020 from “The Nest”
The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) holds numerous events throughout the year to enable members to engage with each other, share best practice and gain the latest insights on their industry.
On 26th November, BALPPA will be streaming their annual health and safety conference from the offices of Finch Consulting due to COVID restrictions.
Speaking on the live stream on behalf of Finch Consulting will be Melvin Sandell, Sue Dearden and Dr Richard Brown. Also joining them will be David Kivlin from the HSE, Marcus Brian from Merlin Entertainments and Richard Shepherd from Drayton Manor Park.
Presentations will run between 10 am and 2 pm and the main topics to be covered will be;
- Managing guest behaviour in visitor attractions.
- An HSE update.
- Equalities and discrimination legislation vs health and safety legislation.
- Achieving behavioural compliance – striking a balance.
BALPPA is offering this opportunity to listen to real experts in the industry for a special rate of £35+VAT per person, less than half the price of the usual in-person conference.
BALPPA has over 300 members and represents the interests of the UK’s commercial leisure parks, piers, zoos, visitor attractions and family entertainment and indoor play centres.
