Sue is a specialist health and safety solicitor with nearly 40 years experience advising and defending corporate clients on health and safety issues.

She particularly works with clients following health and safety incidents to:

  • avoid enforcement action
  • provide guidance on strategy, plea, mitigation and sentence when enforcement action seems likely or is pursued
  • provide effective representation at inquests following fatalities at work,  and in Court in the defence of regulatory prosecutions

Sue is a regularly invited speaker on health and safety enforcement and investigation and provides training, often with Finch engineers or former HSE inspectors on a range of related topics, tailored to client needs.

Sue is a committee member of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association and is also a CEDR accredited mediator.
