Finch recently held a business roundtable at its head offices, The Nest, to discuss the future opportunities for the Food and Drink industry.
Sitting on the panel from Finch were Morag McWilliam, a specialist in worker health protection, and Paul Wood, an asset management specialist.
The food and drink sector is already worth £32bn per annum in the Midlands alone, the roundtable looked at the opportunities and challenges it faces and what investment and processes need to be put in place for businesses to make the most of this opportunity.
Some of the main topics that were discussed included soaring inflation costs, manufacturers being competitive on price, keeping workers safe at work to help with retention and the complications Brexit bought on the supply chain.
