Finch is delighted to announce that we are the headline sponsor of the upcoming IOSH Food and Drink Industry Conference on the 4th of October 2022. The conference, entitled, Emergence, Endurance and Transformation takes place at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth beginning at 8:30 am and commencing at 5 pm.
Asset Management specialist Paul Wood and Process Safety specialist Tristan Pulford are presenting a talk entitled “Maintaining profit safely and sustainably from aged machinery”.
Machinery safety compliance of aged assets can be expensive to get right and more so when it goes wrong. Other than compliance, the benefits of machinery safety assessment are less well understood or measured.
Paul and Tristan will talk about how assessing the safety compliance of aged machinery within a well-designed asset management programme will keep it in use for longer, demonstrate compliance and maintain or increase the returns or yields. They will also discuss how this can be sustainable in the medium and longer terms and how it can drive gains from process safety management.
The programme will include an update from HSE and valuable sessions to inspire all attendees. Other sessions will focus on the current hot topics from the food and drink industry, especially looking at the resilience of the industry after the pandemic and giving an insight into some of the practices of leading organisations, both inside and outside the sector.
The conference sessions will provide you with practical examples of sensible, pragmatic and effective health and safety solutions to improve the occupational health and wellbeing of your workforce and, in turn, improve overall performance in food and drink manufacturing. The conference will show you how to improve your own professional performance within your organisation.
