Finch Announce Further Machinery Safety Training in 2021

further machinery safety training

Finch Consulting are pleased to announce there will be further 2021 Machinery Safety training dates at our head office in Ashby de la Zouch. These courses are intended for duty holders, managers, and those involved in the procurement and maintenance of work equipment.

These are two-day classroom sessions where those attending will learn why machinery safety matters, what PUWER means, why employers can’t offload responsibility onto the equipment manufacturers, how standards assist employers with compliance and where CE or UKCA marking fits into the equation.

For those who are interested in the technical side of functional safety – that is, the achievement of risk reduction through the use of a control system – there’s also a three-day hands-on course discussing the requirements of EN13849-1 and -2, Performance Levels, B10d figures and the like – rounded off with a short test.

Other training such as Awareness of Explosive Atmospheres and more are available on request.

Look out for the confirmed dates in early January 2021!
