On Friday 4th March 2022, Finch was selected as the winner of the Midlands Service Provider of the Year (over £1 million+ turnover) award at the Midlands Business Awards. The category was a tough one, with four other fantastic businesses in the running.
Over 40 companies from across the whole of the Midlands region entered the awards. Hosted by Henrik Court, the evening celebrated the region’s innovativeness and entrepreneurship at the annual gala event.
The judging for the awards was a tough process with Dom Barraclough and Stephanie Dennis representing the company in an interview at Arden Hotel in Birmingham, which helped the judges to make their difficult decision.
Commenting on the win, Managing Director Dom Barraclough says, “It was a fantastic evening held in the beautiful Athena in Leicester, all of the finalists were from brilliant businesses and it was great to celebrate with them. In light of recent events of what is going on in the wider world, it was lovely to enjoy a real Team Finch night out and we were grateful to be able to do so. This award is thanks to all of the Finch Community. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the services we provide.”
It is of great sadness to hear of the passing of the Midlands Business Awards founder Harj Sandher. Harj was a great champion of Midlands businesses and Finch would not have won this award if it wasn’t for him. He will be missed by many.
