The Chemical Industry Association (CIA) Awards are the premier accolades for the UK chemical industry.Finch Consulting was delighted to be asked to sponsor the Company of the Year category, helping underpin its reputation and knowledge in the sector.
The 2019 CIA awards ceremony is being held at St George’s Hall, Liverpool on Thursday 13 June, where Finch Consulting’s Managing Director Dom Barraclough will be presenting the award to the company which, in the view of the judges, has demonstrated growth of its business and a sustained contribution to the UK economy.
Commenting on the sponsorship Dom said, “The awards are a celebration of the best of the UK chemical industry and, by sponsoring this award, we are delighted to align the people of Finch with other organisations also committed to promoting operational excellence. This award is the pinnacle award of the year and the winner will have demonstrated outstanding operational performance in all areas.”
The CIA awards comprises 12 categories which reflect the pace of change in the industry, growth, global competitiveness and sustainability. The awards are open to the whole of the UK Chemical Manufacturing Industry and companies that provide services to the chemical industry. All entries were judged by a panel of experts, and short-listed candidates were announced on 10 May.
