Project Overview: In a strategic partnership with a global insurance firm, we undertook a multifaceted initiative to enhance risk management and safety practices for their clients. Our collaboration involved the development of comprehensive guidance articles and training modules on crucial topics, including lifting, inspection of lifting apparatus, machinery safety, and occupational health. This proactive approach aimed to empower insurance clients with the knowledge and tools to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.

Challenge:

Identifying and mitigating potential risks across diverse industries is a complex challenge. The insurance firm sought to proactively address key areas of concern for their clients, necessitating collaboration with Finch, as experts capable of providing targeted guidance and hands-on training.

Solution:

Finch worked closely with the insurance firm, to identify key risk areas for their diverse portfolio of clients, which focused on lifting operations, inspection of lifting apparatus, machinery safety, and occupational health. These were seen as an area where the existing guidance could be improved and also affected a large portion of the insurance company’s clients.

The result was a series of guidance articles that provided in-depth insights into best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies. These articles included checklists and example procedures that insurance clients could implement in their specific contexts.

Responding to specific client needs, we were subsequently engaged to deliver training services. These programs included both theoretical components, covering the guidance articles, and practical elements to equip participants with hands-on skills. As a follow-up for some of the provider’s clients, Finch provided training on how to carry out risk assessments, implement checklists, and execute the recommended procedures in the areas requested. This practical application of knowledge ensured a seamless integration of safety measures within their operational frameworks.
