Robert Migliaccio is a chartered electrical engineer with over 16 years of experience in Electrical Engineering. He provides expertise to the industry and provides the tools and expertise necessary to minimise the potential dangers of machinery in the workplace, helping businesses to avoid costly and unfortunate mishaps, and meet legal requirements and conformance of machine safety standards.
14 years were spent in the manufacturing industry, working in Europe and the far East advising on machine designs, safety, compliance and project management. He has been involved in many complex projects in both a day to day advisory capacity and post-incident investigation. He provided a combination of process safety and Machinery safety advice and support. He has managed new and existing equipment designs, installations and modifications into complex large scale robotic applications including the development of electrical validation of design, installation and commissioning.
He has technical input into the development of Standards which are developed by dedicated panels of experts, within technical committees of the British Standards Institute (BSI).
He frequently provides expert advice on Machinery Safety Compliance CE, PUWER, EN standards to businesses across many different sectors including heavy industry and food hygiene.
